Optics Training Classes for 2010 Announced; Course Schedule Available Online

TUCSON, Ariz.--Oct. 21, 2009--Breault Research Organization (BRO) has released a new schedule of optics training classes for the 2010 calendar year.

BRO's software classes enable optical designers to efficiently and accurately solve optical challenges using the company's Advanced Systems Analysis Program (ASAPĀ®). ASAP is well known to the optics industry as the most sophisticated program available for the virtual prototyping of optical systems and devices.

Classes are taught at BRO's training center in Tucson, as well as international locations, by senior optical engineers -- each an expert in optics and skilled in the art of teaching. Course offerings include the introductory ASAP tutorial and application-specific ASAP tutorials in automotive illumination, biomedical systems modeling, ghost analysis, illumination design, stray light analysis, and wave optics, as well as custom training designed to meet specific client needs.

Introductory tutorials provide an excellent introduction to ASAP and are recommended for all new users of the software. Application-specific advanced classes are for experienced ASAP users who want to become more efficient with ASAP in a particular area of interest.

All classes range are three days in length and are a mix of hands-on exercises, demonstrations and lectures. Enrollment is limited to 16 students per class to ensure individual instruction. View the schedule on BRO's Web site:
